I just had to pop in here to say that I played Colossal Cave with my dad on the remote “teleprinter” terminal he was able to borrow from where he worked back in the mid/late-70s (probably right about when it came out): Acoustic coupler, reams of computer paper, sitting at the dining room table. Boy was that fun. I also still have our Atari 2600 in the back of our TV room. Haven’t pulled it out in a while, but did when our son was a little younger.
