Google Photos is the World’s Mac Photos. Why not sync to both?
From what I have seen it has no way for me to bulk sync originals for backup.
Right now I auto-upload everything to Dropbox as files, and can then backup/copy/archive as I like. If Google Photos had the ability to appear as a folder full of files on my machine one way or another — even via Google Drive — I’d be all over it.
